Marián Pavel, CEO, co-owner

Marian Pavel began his career as a journalist at SME, one of Slovakia’s most influential newspapers. Over time, he became a respected voice in the fields of telecommunications and mobile technology, building strong expertise at the intersection of media, technology, and digital innovation. 

He later spent more than 15 years in senior management, leading digital activities for some of the largest local publishing houses. This experience gave him a deep understanding of digital products, user behavior, content strategy, and the fast-changing world of online services.

In 2017, Marian decided to leave the media business and fully dedicate himself to the development of Route 66 Navigation and Route 66 Passport. Since then, he has focused on creating a reliable and practical travel app for people who want to discover the legendary Route 66 with confidence, freedom, and respect for its authentic spirit.

Jan Švrček, operations, co-owner

Jan Švrček Jr. is a former ice hockey player with more than 20 years of experience in professional sport, where he developed discipline, resilience, strategic thinking, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Today, he is a successful entrepreneur focused on building and developing businesses with a clear vision and strong sense of responsibility. Alongside his work in Touch Media, Jan is currently also focused on leading of SEZAKO Prerov Company and on the decisive resolution of a challenging investment project in Vietnam.

Continuing the legacy of his father, Jan is committed to moving business forward, solving complex challenges with determination, and seeing things through to a successful conclusion.
